Marketing Launch Manager

Description
Steelcase is hiring a Marketing Launch Manager to successfully launch new and enhanced products, applications and programs across Steelcase Inc. globally to help monetize these solutions through faster sales ramp up and achievement of project sales goals. This role develops, project manages and implements/ensures implementation of the plan for assigned products, applications and programs. You will build and improve the foundations for launch processes, improve revenue/business/cost by bringing creativity and rigor to the launch process, evaluate and integrate best practices, and globalize launch platforms. This role develops and monitors metrics and takes appropriate action to ensure project metrics are met. You will be responsible to build launch knowledge bases with learnings to assist in developing future successful launch plans.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Responsible for leading the planning and execution of global and regional launch plans for assigned areas to meet revenue goals.
• Collaborate with marketing and channel management teams to provide launch expertise and identify interdependencies between products, applications, and knowledge.
• Utilizing your strong leadership skills, you will create an exceptional team experience, manage budgets, and lead process areas such as launch campaigns and showrooms.
• Use unique approaches to maximize profit potential and monitor metrics to improve future launches.
• Participate in governance and approval processes and help design knowledge bases to improve launches.
Who You Are:
• Thorough understanding of marketing, product development, and sales processes
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to collaborate, persuade, gain alignment, negotiate and influence global teams
• Ability to leverage past skills & experiences in sales, marketing, product management, PD&L, communications & product management to guide decision making and process development
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction with multiple functions and levels both in the organization and with external audiences
• Design thinker with creative and analytical skills
• Ability to develop and recommend new and/or modified plans and processes that enhance the impact and profitability of assigned area
• Ability to successfully manage multiple, competing projects, demands & activities
• Strong business acumen with ability to analyze and synthesize sales & financial data and take appropriate action as a result
• Ability to manage budgets
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Marketing, Sales or Business
• Graduate degree (MBA) preferred or equivalent working experience
• Minimum six to eight years experience in a combination of Marketing, product development, channel or sales
