Exciting Opportunity at MSK Senior Specialist, Clinical Communication We are excited to recruit a
Senior Specialist
on our Clinical Communication team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about partnering with clinical leadership and providers in MSK's Department of Radiology to create impactful communications for both internal and external audiences. You will be a vital member of a cross functional team in the Department of Marketing & Communication, helping to drive the strategic goals and supporting key clinical departments across MSK. Role Overview: Be responsible for the holistic creation of an internal newsletter for the Department of Radiology, including information gathering, writing, editing, design, and publishing.
Work closely with the Radiology Chair and Service Chiefs to share the most relevant clinical information in a timely and organized manner. Build strong relationships with key clinical stakeholders to create a pipeline of information that can be shared with Marketing & Communication partners for use on internal and external platforms. Implement a regular cadence, format, and content-planning process for internal updates and newsletter. Maintain and update Radiology-related content for msk.org and draft original content, including but not limited to provider profiles, program pages, fellowship information, and research summaries. Partner with colleagues in Marketing & Communication to raise public awareness of our Radiology offerings and programs. Work with key leaders to develop narratives and strategic communication plans to meet the needs of clinical priorities. Measure and report on content efficiency as it pertains to the goals of MSK's clinical departments. Key Qualifications: 4 years of experience in content management and/or writing and editing, ideally with experience in-house at healthcare, research, or life sciences institutions, and/or in media. Experience working with and/or an understanding of the field of radiology preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills with a talent for synthesizing complex information from diverse sources. Experience copyediting and outstanding attention to detail and consistent formatting. Core Skills: Proven experience in presenting complex information in clear, understandable terms. Familiarity with/willingness to learn new content delivery platforms. A collaborative spirit, solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to communicate strategically with multiple team members. The ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver work on deadline. Additional Information: This role is based at MSK's 633 Third Avenue location. Schedule: Full Time, Hybrid onsite as needed Flexibility to meet with faculty and other stakeholders outside normal business hours.
