Responsibilities
- Lead a track of strategic research providing actionable insights by collaborating with designers, product managers, and engineers adhering to best practices with integrity and rigorous execution of research.
- Plan and execute original user research including creating planning documents, study organization, data analysis, and in-depth reporting of insights.
- Bring in outside-in learnings through desk research, competitive reviews, and third-party data sources.
- Leverage internal data to bring additional insights and help shape a point-of-view.
- Be prepared to execute on a range of methods including interviews, usability testing, quantitative approaches, and everything in between.
- Deliver high-impact insights that blend the customer need and business considerations to help drive product strategy in well-articulated reports.
- Thrive in an extremely fast-paced workplace with multiple stakeholder demands in an environment with consistent shifts and pivots.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Factors, or equivalent fields; strong preference for Master’s degree or higher.
- Demonstrably strong understanding and application of fundamental research principles for all stages of projects including design, analysis, and reporting.
- 5+ years of industry experience in technology applications including mobile.
- Expertise in a broad range of methodologies including ethnographic-like approaches, interviews, diary studies, usability testing, surveys, and experimental design.
- Multi-method skills preferred including survey design and analysis.
- Ability to turn analysis into a compelling story across all levels of leadership in the organization.
