Graphic Design Design and create graphic materials for a wide range of print and digital environments with great attention to quality and detail. Areas of work could include (but are not limited to) branding/identity, reports and publications, presentations, event graphics and collateral, promotional display, signage, social media graphics, digital ads, promotional items and web designs.Work with partners to develop a cohesive visual identity system for the School of Architecture and to resolve design challenges. Serve as graphic designer, art director and production manager for all visual communication pieces.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, other staff, and vendors on creative project needs, and support design requests as needed, including developing presentations, marketing collateral, signage, and more. Key collaborators include the Deans Office, Student Affairs, Development, Lectures and Exhibitions Committee, and faculty and staff supporting publications, among others.Manage printing and production processes requesting quotes, producing print-ready files aligned with specifications, complete press checks and coordinate delivery.Photography and Asset Management Develop and manage inventory of relevant marketing and promotional materials, supplies, equipment, photos, graphics and design assets.Serve as staff photographer/ videographer, documenting public events and programs. Coordinate with professional vendors and student photographers as needed.Provide support for photo searches and photo editing, such as color correction, resizing, clipping and creating consistency between photos.Ensure all visual content is aligned with brand identity.Marginal / Incidental Functions In collaboration with the Communications Coordinator, support maintenance of the School of Architectures web and social media pages, helping to make updates, producing relevant graphics as needed, and making pages easier to navigate.Serve as an essential member of the staff in the Deans Office by assisting with the completion of various administrative tasks as needed. Other related functions as assigned. Contributes to a positive and collegial work environment. Occasional overtime work may be required during peak periods and events.
