Within our Amazon Ads Partner Marketing team, a strategic part of our charter is to build programs and drive initiatives to support third-party partners who help enable brands to advertise more efficiently on Amazon. We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager who is highly creative, data-driven and results-oriented. In this role you will help shape and expand a global partner recognition program, focused on highlighting advertising partners who drive value for Amazon advertisers. In this role you will be responsible for managing and scaling a complex cross-functional marketing program to drive recognition of our advertising partners. You will partner with the program lead to help drive existing program initiatives as well as have the opportunity to conceive, build, launch and own new types of recognition initiatives. As this program is still relatively new, you will also have the opportunity to help further define the program priorities, set objectives, analyze data, and drive improvements that are quantified with metrics. Our group functions as a start-up within Amazon, and offers a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you’ll be at the center of Amazon innovation. The ideal candidate is experienced in creating, writing, and editing content across a range of mediums – program playbooks and 1-pagers, email templates, video scripts and program promotion material distributed across social, own website and email. They also are comfortable analyzing data to measure program effectiveness and identify new areas of opportunity. Previous experience with advertising and/or an award, recognition or incentive program and event management is a plus. A successful candidate will have expert relationship building skills, strong communication (both written and verbal) and an interest in establishing processes that scale. Key job responsibilities • Take ownership of existing program initiatives in order to deliver key program milestones. • Support the program lead in identifying additional program needs and further expand the program strategy. • Work closely with external/internal stakeholders to identify regional and global needs, prioritize high impact initiatives and deliver through stakeholders. • Work cross-functionally with brand marketing, product marketing, channel marketing, partner management, insight and analytics, legal and PR to drive alignment and deliver programs effectively. • Develop marketing collateral to support program initiatives including program playbooks and 1-pagers, email templates, video scripts and program promotion material. • Define key program metrics to measure award submissions as well as measure success of the program, working with analytics to develop program dashboards to track both at scale. • Perform data analysis to identify new program opportunities and support program expansion proposals. • Support the development of events in order to highlight award winners by working closely with other strategic event teams within Amazon Ads. Basic Qualifications 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) Experience communicating results to senior leadership Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, high-tech products/services Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or other related area Experience with project management and CRM tools like Workfront, Airtable and Salesforce Experience in partner marketing within a technology, advertising, or SaaS environment Experience developing a net-new program and developing mechanisms to scale it globally Experience managing marketing programs across time zones, regions, and global cross-functional teams Experience adapting and/or writing SQL data queries Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
