Role Purpose
The Production Engineer, Audio is responsible for managing and maintaining the audio network infrastructure within studio operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality sound production and requires a thorough understanding of audio systems and signal processing.
What this job involves
- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and optimization of audio network systems to ensure optimal performance during productions.
- Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot audio-related issues, employing a proactive approach to system upkeep and reliability.
- Operate audio consoles and digital audio workstations (DAWs) as necessary, ensuring high fidelity and clarity in audio production.
- Liaise with production staff, sound designers, and other engineers to ensure that audio elements meet artistic and technical standards.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of audio systems and workflows, and mentor junior staff in audio production techniques.
- Work closely with production teams, engineers, and directors to ensure all production needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Upkeep and review of manuals, handbooks, guidance notes etc.
- Other tasks and duties as required.
Sounds like you? To apply you need to be / have:
- 7+ years’ experience or background in audio engineering, sound design, and production technologies.
- Proficient in audio signal flow and processing techniques.
- Bachelor’s degree in audio engineering, music production, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- IT Skills, Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Excellent attention to detail.

Estimated total compensation for this position: 97,900.00 – 142,000.00 USD per year
