Job Description

An Onsite Community Manager is responsible for providing the overall supervision of a portfolio ofcommunity associations. The Onsite Community Manager interacts with internal and external customersincluding homeowners, vendors, board members and committee members, as well as Associa staff.

Work hours:45 hrs per week M-F 7am - 4pm with emergency on call nights, weekends, and holidays.

Daily responsibilities:

  • Manage Gatehouse and controlled access into the community.
  • Effectively work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
  • Implement Board policy and directives within the scope of the management agreement. Works with the board on strategic initiatives, policy governance and association projects.
  • Walk and inspect community to ensure community is well maintained and HOA Code, Compliance, Rules Regulations are followed.
  • Meet and greet homeowners, residents, members of the Board of Directors, maintenance vendors and contractors.
  • Research and respond to inquires in-person, by phone, and email.
  • Data enter and update information in the database; record and track documents and information.
  • Assist in managing budgets.
  • Oversee contracted concierge and maintenance staff.
  • Prioritize maintenance requests and work orders; schedule and coordinate maintenance vendors and contractors for work to be done onsite.
  • Manage all communications by mail and email to homeowners notifying them of maintenance onsite, HOA guidelines, and community events.
  • Assist with the AP process.
  • Other projects as assigned.
Pay rate: $75K-$85K.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Community Association Experience highly preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of the Association Board of Directors, the General Manager, and how those roles interface with the requests of homeowners.
  • Excellent customer service skills with collaborative approach when assisting others.
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken), follow-up, time management, and time critical prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Ability to work effectively with others in person and in a group setting using effective conflict resolution techniques.
  • Effective project management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in various stages of completion and communicate with all parties involved.
