The primary duties of the Content Analyst are to:

Content Management:

  • Use Sitecore CMS to create, edit, and publish web pages, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand content requirements and make necessary updates to web pages accordingly.
  • Optimize web content for search engine visibility, ensuring appropriate keyword usage and metadata implementation.
  • Maintain a consistent content publishing schedule and ensure timely updates.
  • Support the execution and maintenance of A/B tests to optimize website content, layout, and user flows.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and implement recommended changes based on test results.
Website Optimization:
  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Sitecore Analytics, monitor site speed via lighthouse scores and core web vitals
  • Regular monitoring and analysis of site 404 page reports, making remediations to ensure seamless site navigation and increased SEO performance
  • Analyze customer satisfaction survey data and generate regular reports on actionable remediation items based on customer feedback, and map current overall satisfaction scoring and forecast how improve scores month over month
  • Ensure site is ADA compliant by making identified remediations and regularly scanning to discover areas for improvement
  • Identify opportunities for website optimization based on data analysis and user behavior.
  • Using a tag manager, such as Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager, to implement and optimize tracking tags for site performance and analytics optimization
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, development, product management, business analysts and content creators, to gather requirements, align strategies, and implement changes.
  • Provide guidance and support to content creators to ensure best practices for website content.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to web editing, CMS, ADA compliance and A/B testing.
  • Provide leadership on web content best practices to business partners and project stakeholders
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ability to manage all third party tools and understand how they apply to ACA.
  • Ability to work autonomously managing a variety of projects and tasks that require strong project management skills.
  • Uses independent judgment and demonstrates resourcefulness in gaining consensus to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and be able to explain and resolve those issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to present technical ideas and high-level concepts and solutions to internal and external team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
  • Creativity, strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience working as a Web Content Editor or similar role, with a strong focus on content management and optimization.
  • Proficiency in content creation, editing, and publishing.
  • Proficiency with content management systems, Sitecore CMS experience preferred
  • Experience with web sites using Headless CMS technology is preferred.
  • Understanding of web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and the ability to generate meaningful reports.
  • Familiarity with Tag Management tools
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk, Smartsheet, Trello, Asana or similar
  • Solid knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to optimize content for search engines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts is a plus.
