WTVQ is hiring: Web Content Producer in Lexington

WTVQ-TV ABC 36 Lexington seeks a web content producer to join our team. Candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of producing television news or the equivalent. We are searching for a candidate that is highly motivated, a team player, creative, aggressive, and a self-starter. Individual must have strong writing skills and be familiar with social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.Responsibilities will include:•Create content for all digital platforms while communicating with newsroom staff•Post video to WTVQ website•Work with reporters and producers to post material on the website and social media•Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and overnights•Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity•Meet assigned deadlines.•Good organizational skills•Can work under pressureEOE M/F/D/V pre-employment background check required.
