Senior Manager, Content Marketing Tysons, VA or Remote (Eastern Time Zone) Qrvey , a rapidly growing technology firm specializing in delivering embedded analytics to SaaS companies is looking to build out the content marketing function, and have some fun with it! We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Content Marketing to spearhead content creation efforts that drive demand and revenue. The ideal candidate has a passion for crafting engaging content mapped to the buyer’s journey, and 8+ years of B2B tech marketing experience with 4-5 of those years focused on content marketing. You will own the content development strategy, delivering content that resonates with our personas and aligned to the buying journey. You’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success and Tech leaders. Your efforts will directly impact revenue at a startup geared for growth. The ideal candidate has led and scaled the content marketing function at a growing SaaS company, and lives for the opportunity to do it again. Evolving and growing our brand through content is a major aspect of this role. This role will involve creating a variety of long and short form content that marries brand and demand, including thought leadership ebooks and articles, blog posts, videos, and more. If your approach to content marketing is rooted in SEO, we absolutely want you on our team! If you have a passion for building content programs that drive revenue and a hunger for ideating and launching creative campaigns with a highly motivated team, this role is for you! The salary range for this role is $120-140K plus annual performance bonus. Candidates must be US citizens, permanently live in the US, and must be located in the ET or CT time zones. Responsibilities: Create and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned to meet our demand generation objectives Lead the development of high-quality content for organic and paid channels, including blog posts, whitepapers/ebooks, guides, thought leadership articles, case studies, website landing pages, webinar presentations, and other long form and short form content Develop a derivative content plan to promote across channels (paid and unpaid) Collaborate closely with the social media marketing manager on content distribution Work with third party vendors to keep content projects on time and within budget Report weekly on content development progress and performance – inform the revenue team which content is driving SQLs Identify SEO opportunities to boost organic search rankings Report monthly on Organic web traffic – discuss the impact of our SEO efforts on improving our organic rankings, traffic, and conversions Manage the content development process that fuels Qrvey’s video series and introduce ideas for additional video series that will resonate with our audience Encourage and enable the distribution of content to prospects and customers through sales and customer success teams Generate content to help position Qrvey executives as thought leaders in the analytics industry Develop product marketing assets as needed Fuel our content engine by staying locked in on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Communications Proven experience in content marketing within a B2B software or technology company A strong understanding of the pipeline and the role content plays in pipeline generation Experience managing freelancers, agencies, and contract writers Ability to effectively communicate projects and deliverables with vendors to meet deadlines Experience simplifying complex topics and translating into impactful messaging Demonstrated ability to create compelling, persona-focused content that drives engagement and conversion Proven experience developing content with SEO principles and best practices at the forefront Experience updating old content with SEO best practices as a method to boost rankings Experience ideating webinar topics and working with SMEs to develop webinar content Skilled at repurposing existing content Experience developing product marketing collateral, including competitive, sales enablement and bottom of the funnel content Exceptional marketing writing and editing skills: you know how to write copy that converts, you have an incredible eye for detail, and a strong command of grammar and style Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform content strategy Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (We use Monday.com) Creative and strategic, capable of generating innovative content ideas aligned with business objectives A passion for problem solving Collaborative team player Design experience a huge plus – Canva or Adobe CC Previous startup experience WordPress Admin experience is a plus but not required Video editing skills helpful, but not required What We Offer At Qrvey, we are passionate about building an inclusive organization that excites our employees, customers and partners.
