Job Description
As a Creative Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the allocation and management of the agency's creative resources. Reporting directly to agency leadership, you will control resource bandwidth, forecast future needs, and ensure efficient collaboration between teams. This role is a hybrid work model in Coral Gables 1-2 days in-office - or more if you want to.
Key Responsibilities
Resource Bandwidth Management:
- Control the bandwidth of creative resources, ensuring optimal utilization and preventing burnout.
- Forecast resource needs based on current and incoming projects.
- Keep leadership updated on resource bandwidth and availability.
Collaboration with Leadership:
- Report directly to agency leadership and closely communicate on resource prioritization.
- Work collaboratively with leadership to align resource allocation with agency goals.
- Keep up to date on leadership's account priorities and upcoming projects.
Scoping Strategy:
- Forecast project timelines and resource needs for upcoming projects.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to negotiate timelines and budgets for potential scopes of work.
People Planning:
- Assess account needs and plan for the required creative resources.
- Work with Account Executives to understand and anticipate project requirements.
Internal Negotiation:
- Negotiate internally on time and budgets for resources and projects.
- Reallocate resources as needed to align with project priorities.
Status Updates:
- Keep all stakeholders informed on the current status of ongoing projects.
- Provide regular updates on resource availability, project timelines, and potential challenges.
Project Assignments:
- Assign resources to projects based on their skills, expertise, and workload capacity.
- Ensure the right talent is allocated to each project.
- Manage resources for a variety of projects, including package design, banners, sales decks, ad campaigns, brand strategy work, videos, and photoshoots.
Project Management Tools:
- Work within project management software, primarily Asana, to organize and track project details.
- Utilize time tracking software to monitor project timelines and resource utilization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing resources in a creative agency or similar environment.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana) and time tracking tools.
- Understanding of creative workflows, production processes, and project management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to forecast resource needs and align them with project priorities.
- Prior experience in managing resources for diverse creative projects.
