About the Role

As a Senior Creative Strategist, you'll brief in ad concepts that are informed by performance, cultural trends, and consumer behavior. You will lead the creative conversation with clients, aiming to improve performance through testing, iteration, and ideation. We are looking for someone who is confident, creative, and organized. This role sits at the crossroads of strategy, creative, media, and data, working closely with the Digital Strategy, Creative Services, and Paid Media teams.

We are looking for someone passionate about performance creative, hands-on-keyboard experience in digital acquisition channels, and an emphasis on visual channels such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate can successfully lead client relationships, work collaboratively with a production team, and is able to contribute to agency-wide creative best practices. You should also be well-versed in UGC production, best practices, and be up to date on current creative trends within the UGC space. This role will work closely with the Director of Creative Strategy.
Responsibilities:

  • Weekly and Monthly Creative Performance reporting via Slides, Sheets, and Ads Manager data.
  • Briefing new concepts to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be an expert on creative testing and media best practices.
  • Conduct cultural, consumer research.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions for concepts.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, producers, and media team members.
  • Engage with designers to build ads that engage and persuade, providing creative feedback as needed in a constructive way.
About You
The essentials:
  • 3-5+ years of experience working in a client-facing strategic role at a creative, social or performance marketing agency
  • 2 + years ofperformance marketingexperience is a MUST
  • Experience managing both eComm and lead gen creative strategy
  • Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn experience is a must; YouTube, CTV, Pinterest, UAC and Snapchat experience is a plus
  • Passion for creative and design trends in media
  • Copywriting experience or strong writing skills
  • Attuned to different ways to test creative beyond A/B (and best practices on digital channels)
  • Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads fluency (in order to pull data)
  • You are a communication guru when presenting creative strategy to C-Suite and executive audiences
  • Not afraid to get in the weeds, but still able to see the trees, forest, and ecosystem
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
