ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR

We are looking to hire an Account Supervisor for our Fashion team who will be instrumental in taking ownership of accounts and implementing PR and marketing strategies across a portfolio of luxury and consumer fashion clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage daily workflow of a minimum of 4-5 accounts while driving consistent media results; report status of accounts to Director and/or Vice President on the accounts.
  • Develop, review and approve agendas, press releases, pitches, recaps and other materials; approve activity reports, clipbooks and other internal documents.
  • Serve as daily client contact and act as client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
  • Develop and execute effective press strategies, which support the brands, including openings, special events, innovations and category launches, identifying new coverage opportunities and story angles throughout the year
  • Develop and execute for relevant clients, in conjunction with line manager and Account team, a calendar of communications activity to support all business channels for clients
  • Working cohesively with relevant departments across integrated strategies
  • Manage client expectations and assist clients in maximizing relationship with BPCM.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with influential members of the media in order to ensure placements.
  • Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall PR strategy.
  • Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to junior-level staff on team issues, account workflow and general account issues;
  • Participate in the development of materials for new business opportunities including timelines, proposals, business decks and case studies; assist in generating new business leads.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

The account supervisor must have at least 6 years of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including advertising, management consulting, media and publishing.

Preferred Qualifications:

· The account supervisor should have a bachelor’s degree in publication relations, marketing or a related field, coupled with agency experience and a proven

· ability to manage large projects (including budgets) and small teams simultaneously.

· The account supervisor would function as a daily client contact, as well as develop and execute plans to meet client goals and should have demonstrated ability to delegate and

· accurately judge and edit the work of others.

· Preferred candidates should have excellent written and verbal communications skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $93,000 annually. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
