"Our multinational news client is seeking a Graphic Designer for a 6-month, hybrid role in NYC (3 days onsite, 2 days work from home, 40 hrs/week).Position OverviewWe are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually engaging designs that align with our brand's goals. This role requires a blend of graphic design skills and front-end development knowledge to deliver compelling content across various platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute design concepts for various projects.Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media, newsletters, and advertisements.Assist in the development of front-end design elements for web applications and websites.Utilize illustration and visual storytelling techniques to enhance content and engage audiences.Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for branding and marketing initiatives.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project specifications.Engage in self-initiated projects to explore new design techniques and trends.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.Proven experience in graphic design, with a solid portfolio showcasing previous work.Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Experience in branding and visual storytelling.Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
