What you’ll do here: Collaborates with schools and sales organization to create custom yearbook cover designs Host online design sessions with customers Create product solutions that enhance photography for the various Lifetouch businesses Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop consumer product solutions that drive business results and customer engagement. Responsible for accurate delivery of design files to internal and external production vendors following file specifications Work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines across multiple projects. Other duties as assigned Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent related experience The Skills You’ll Bring:   PORTFOLIO OR WEBSITE REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION 3-5 years of design experience Portfolio showcasing print-based projects, hand-lettering and illustration skills preferred Appreciation of typography, layout, composition, and color Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Thrives in a collaborative team environment but also excels at working independently Willingness to be flexible with tasks on a day-to-day basis and evolve role as required by the needs of the team Other (knowledge, skills, and abilities) Proficient in Creative Suite for digital and print Microsoft applications, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Experience working in a cross-functional environment Has a portfolio that reflects design sensibility, attention to detail, clean and modern aesthetic Good organizational skills Good communication skills Detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as well as balance and execute against multiple projects/priorities simultaneously Takes initiative Supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce is important to Shutterfly not only because it directly reflects our value of Embracing our Differences, but also because it’s the right thing to do for our business and for our people.
