As a member of RHG's dynamic Marketing team, the Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and executing marketing initiatives that elevate the brand, drive sales growth, and expand audience reach across our multiple restaurant concepts. You will work closely with leadership, as well as with internal and external teams, to craft compelling, data-driven campaigns that reflect RHG's core values and connect meaningfully with our guests.
Position Overview:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the execution of all marketing initiatives within the company, with a particular focus on project management and ensuring all campaigns are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This position requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of digital marketing, project management tools, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
As the point person between the Director of Marketing and the marketing team, you will manage the production and delivery of marketing campaigns, monitor their success through key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide valuable feedback and insights to optimize future initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Execution:
- Lead the implementation and execution of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotional activities, ensuring timely and successful delivery across digital and offline channels.
- Oversee the use and management of Asana and CRM systems to streamline project workflows, monitor progress, and ensure clear communication within the team.
- Develop detailed project funnels for various campaigns and ensure all deliverables are met according to the specified deadlines.
- Digital Marketing:
- Manage and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google and Meta(Facebook/Instagram), ensuring compliance with best practices and achieving targeted results.
- Implement and track basic SEO strategies for website optimization to drive traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- A/B test eblasts, landing pages, and other digital content to refine engagement and conversion strategies.
- Develop and manage email marketing flows to nurture and engage guests, utilizing automation tools for optimal efficiency.
- Market Research & Growth:
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices through webinars, workshops, books, and continuing education. Regular learning ensures our marketing remains innovative and effective.
- Conduct research into new markets, industry trends, and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Utilize tools such as Placer Ai and other data sources to gather actionable insights and identify opportunities for growth.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Track and report on KPIs (sales growth, audience growth, branding expansion) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
- Produce regular marketing reports for leadership and stakeholders, providing analysis of campaign performance and insights for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Team Leadership:
- Work closely with the Marketing Assistant, Lead Graphic Designer, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, creative assets, and promotions.
- Oversee and delegate fulfillment of community donation requests, ensuring a streamlined process from receipt through to evaluation and tracking of ROI.
- Coordinate with the Director of Marketing and other departments to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and initiatives.
- Community Engagement:
- Develop strategies to engage with the local community, from event promotions to partnerships that align with RHG's values and expand brand awareness.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, marketing, or digital advertising, ideally within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong background in digital marketing, including experience managing paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Google, Meta, and others.
- Familiarity with SEO strategies and basic website optimization techniques.
- Proficient in Asana and CRM systems, with the ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g., MyEmma, mail chimp, etc.) and WordPress.
- Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to track and measure marketing performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly collaborative and creative, with a passion for problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Photography or Videography Skills: Interest in or experience with content creation is a plus.
- Graphic Design Understanding: Familiarity with basic graphic design principles or tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) is beneficial but not required.
- Leadership Abilities: Ability to provide guidance to junior team members and foster a collaborative, productive work environment.
- Restaurant or hospitality background valuable but not required.
- This position will require both in-office and in-store presence. Marketing Managers should be available to visit restaurants and engage with in-store operations, with the remainder of time spent at the support office.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary for special events or marketing initiatives.
