The Marketing Coordinator will follow the direction of the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager with all administrative tasks needed to successfully accomplish all marketing plans and programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the Marketing department in interacting with various marketing services.
- Communicate and coordinate with the internal Marketing staff to understand business/marketing objectives and ensure deadlines are met.
- In conjunction with the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing is responsible for creation and execution of successful promotions and events including large retail promotions, slot tournament and events.
- Assist Marketing Manager in development of advertising material.
- Assist Marketing Manager in maintaining internal marketing materials such as brochures, lightfaces, signs, posters and digital marquees.
- Writing rules and regulations for promotions and special events as assigned.
- Coordinates with other departments as necessary to ensure successful events.
- Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
- Complies with and upholds company expectations including but not limited to policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.
- Communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that impact the business.
- Must be knowledgeable of all happening on property and in the market.
- Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Interact with targeted virtual communities and network users to promote Tuscany products and provide customer care services to new audiences.
- Develop and maintain but not limited to blogs, video feeds, trending social networking sites and resource centers.
- Research opportunities for new social marketing platforms and select adapt current process to fit client needs.
- Performs and manages social media relations duties for casino promotions, restaurant specials, and sporting events.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions and increase reach.
- Assist with crisis management, bad reviews, and negative news communications.
- Assist casino hosts, Players Club, Casino Events, and other departments with information regarding casino guests.
- Must be able to stand for hours at a time.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 15lbs.
- Must be able to work all schedules, all days and all shifts.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be at least 21 years of age. College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required. Minimum of 6 months hospitality experience. Gaming experience preferred. Proficient in the use of computer applications, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point. Must have a solid understanding of the social media universe including business applications of social media platforms. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
