Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to support our PR team in executing communication strategies and maintaining relationships with the media. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in media relations, communication strategies, and brand representation. As a Public Relations Assistant, you will be responsible for drafting press releases, organizing events, tracking media coverage, and helping to manage public relations campaigns.


Key Responsibilities
  • Media Relations Support: Assist in maintaining a media contact database and help with the distribution of press materials, including press releases, media kits, and statements.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and media interviews.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track media coverage and assist in preparing reports to measure the success of PR campaigns.
  • Client Liaison: Help maintain relationships with clients, journalists, and other stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the PR team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing materials for presentations.

Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
  • Knowledge of media monitoring tools and PR software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
