Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to support our PR team in executing communication strategies and managing media relations. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a passion for storytelling and brand management. This role will provide hands-on experience in public relations, media outreach, event planning, and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Media Relations:

    • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets.
    • Draft press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
    • Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings.
  • Event Coordination:

    • Help organize press events, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
    • Coordinate logistics, guest lists, and media attendance.
  • Administrative Support:

    • Maintain media contact lists and databases.
    • Prepare reports on campaign performance and media metrics.
    • Handle scheduling and communication for PR-related activities.
  • Crisis Communication Support:

    • Assist in drafting statements and coordinating responses during crisis situations.
    • Monitor public sentiment and social media for potential issues.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
