We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our ComSec & IPv6 team. This role will primarily focus on creating, managing, and updating technical documentation for processes, procedures, networking, and testing related to ComSec (Cybersecurity) and IPv6 technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing for IT, networking, and engineering, with a proven ability to produce high-quality documentation under tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed, clear, and accurate technical documentation related to ComSec (Cybersecurity), IPv6 implementation, network testing, and related processes and procedures.
  • Document gaps and issues identified during testing, and provide clear, actionable feedback for resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, network specialists, and cybersecurity teams to gather necessary information for comprehensive documentation.
  • Produce various types of documentation, including but not limited to: user manuals, process guides, best practices, test plans, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and adheres to company and industry standards for technical writing.
  • Maintain version control and track document changes in accordance with documentation processes.
  • Work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment, ensuring that documentation is produced efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure that all technical documentation aligns with project goals and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, with a strong focus on IT, networking, or engineering documentation. Experience in creating and managing documentation for networking and testing processes, particularly within ComSec (Cybersecurity) and IPv6 technologies.
  • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and understandable manner. Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using documentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and track multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with version control and document management systems is a plus.
  • A solid understanding of networking principles, IPv6, and Cybersecurity concepts (ComSec) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Technical Communication, Information Technology, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
