This person will be part of the Production Team in developing engaging worship services, resourcing staff and volunteers for ministry, and ensuring the quality and stability of all production systems in our adult worship venues, age-graded ministry spaces, and cross campus events.

Description
Position Summary:
Austin Ridge Bible Church, a multisite church located in the fast-growing city of Austin, Texas, is looking for a Live Video Director. This person will be part of the Production Team in developing engaging worship services, resourcing staff and volunteers for ministry, and ensuring the quality and stability of all production systems in our adult worship venues, age-graded ministry spaces, and cross campus events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of live video for weekend services and special events
- Coordinate with the Creative Team to ensure that all assets are programmed and ready for services and special events
- Troubleshoot technical issues during weekend worship experiences across all campuses and ensure that all worship experiences are free of technological distractions
- Capture and distribute campus-specific audio and video content through streaming and archival of content
- Maintain and service video equipment for all ARBC locations as needed
- Provide leadership, training and consultation to volunteer and staff of ARBC ministries
- Assist in the setting up and running of audio, lighting and/or video systems for ARBC ministries and events
- Remain proficient on all technical and production equipment in all ARBC venues, in order to effectively give direction and offer training to volunteers
- Provide production support as needed for remote ARBC Campuses
- Assist with stage sets and design by running cable, moving stage pieces, moving cameras, moving lights, building sets, etc., as assigned by Production Director
- Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, organization, inventory, and some repair of audio, video, lighting, and staging systems
Position Requirements
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
- A devoted follower of Jesus Christ
- 5-7 years of related experience within the Audio/Video events industry and or church live event production with 4-5 years experience in a video directing/TD role
- Prior experience in the church production environment preferred
- Capable of leading, training, and equipping volunteers across multiple campuses
- Excellent initiative, interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to be adaptable and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Self-motivated as an individual contributor with the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
- Extensive working knowledge of live event video systems, including integration with other technologies used in environments outside of video (i.e., audio integration - clocking & sync, MIDI control & basic lighting)
- High level understanding of broadcast standards including SDI/HD-SDI broadcast standards, common video codecs and standards, calibration of equipment via waveforms and vector-scopes
- Excellent understanding of audio, video, and lighting signal flow
- Strong attention to detail and desire for excellence
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to and in agreement with the statement of faith of Austin Ridge Bible Church
- It is expected that this person is now or will become an active member of Austin Ridge Bible Church
- May be called upon for lifting, pulling, climbing, bending, carrying, and pushing as needed to set up activities and events. Ability to lift 50 pounds preferred. Driver's license and clean driving record to operate church owned and rental vehicles.
