HiFyve is hiring a 2nd Shift Visual Inspector in the manufacturing industry in St. Paul, MN!

Salary: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Location: St. Paul, MN

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Examine products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Visually inspect products at various stages of production.
• Identify and document defects such as stains, blisters, and missing plating.
• Record inspection results, including pass/fail grades and the number of products inspected.
• Use tools and equipment for quality inspections.
• Rack parts for plating processes and assist with masking parts when required.
• Perform in-process inspections during rework and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and improve processes.
• Support and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Contribute to quality manual updates, operator work instructions, and forms.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong visual acuity and color perception
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency in English for verbal and written communication
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods
• Experience in manufacturing or quality inspection is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, fumes, and noise
