Star Equipment Services, a leading repair facility specializing in welding equipment and generators in South Florida. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the full-time position of Service Writer. As a factory-certified center for Kohler Engines, Kubota diesel, and all major brands of welders and plasma cutters, we are committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and create repair orders
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Schedule service appointments and dispatch technicians
• Order parts and supplies from vendors
• Maintain accurate records of customer information and repair orders
• Process payments and handle cash transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with clients
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Spanish speaking (Professional)
• Previous experience in a service writing or customer service role is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in computer applications and data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of welding equipment and generators is a plus
