Overview In this role, you will be a hybrid community manager and creator within our fast-growing Consumer and Content Experience discipline. You will work on one of the world's largest skincare brands, creating social-first content that breaks through feeds and engages passionate fans across their social media platforms. You’ll work alongside a team of social strategists, community managers, and a creative team to craft culturally relevant content calendars that align with brand goals, flawlessly publish content across social platforms, and proactively spot trends to identify timely opportunities for engagement. Additionally, you'll generate dynamic content and responses that seamlessly place the brand into conversations in meaningful, engaging ways. Responsibilities Foster and grow a vibrant social community of fans across various social channels. Develop and maintain monthly content calendars. Collaborate with our creative team to develop engaging content across various platforms. Identify trends and skincare-related topics to craft culturally relevant and timely posts. Capture, edit, and produce original video content by applying text overlays, emojis, and music. Activate UGC programs, ensuring brand and legal compliance. Actively engage with followers across platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms). Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with influencers, partners, and brand advocates. Monitor and analyze community sentiment, feedback, and engagement metrics. Provide regular reports on engagement trends and recommend actionable strategies. Implement community guidelines and enforce content policies to ensure a positive and inclusive fan experience. Be at the forefront of real-time trends and culturally relevant moments, doing “trend-mining” to find relevant ways to proactively insert the brand/shows into the conversation in a way that will spark conversation. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience working in social marketing in a Creator role, with expertise in performing community management. Experience in community management and content creation and the ability to showcase samples of previous work, including content creation. Experience making social-first content—especially video—for well-known brands is a plus (CPG, fashion, or accessory brands are a plus). Experience with photography, videography, and editing, with a strong understanding of visual storytelling. Social-first design and content creation skills (e.g., Canva, Capcut, and native platform tools). Ability to create post copy that is SEO optimized and will grab people’s attention in the feeds and platform searches. Weekend/evening availability as needed and the ability to respond after-hours for important, timely, or urgent matters. Strong understanding of social channels, trends, and best practices. What makes the candidate successful : Previous experience in the beauty or skincare industry. Strong copywriting skills and proven expertise in performing community management for big brands. Constant pulse around what’s trending culturally on social platforms. Love creating content that will stand out in feeds and feel native to the platform. Proactively coming to the team with new ideas and fresh ways to capture content that will drive engagement with the brand and attract new audiences. Ability to edit things quickly and adapt to tight timelines to capitalize on timely opportunities. General understanding of social analytics and what makes content spread across social feeds. Experience using social marketing tools such as Netbase/Quid and tools like Sprinklr, Sprout, and Affinio. Expertise in editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut) and familiarity with production equipment (e.g., ring lights, gimbals, backdrops). Experience understanding and using data to inform community-based decisions, including audience insights, cultural trends, and analytics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly. Keen eye for detail is a must. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
