Scope Houlihan Lokey, a leading global investment bank, is seeking a Marketing Associate to join the firm’s growing marketing team. The Corporate Finance Marketing Associate will work cross-functionally to contribute to the implementation of strategic marketing programs, help in the execution of day-to-day marketing activities, and support ad hoc marketing projects as they arise. The ideal candidate has excellent project management skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong digital and project coordination skills, and a keen attention to detail. The Corporate Finance Marketing Associate is responsible for providing regular project status updates to the Corporate Finance senior marketing team.
Responsibilities Working extensively with the corporate finance marketing team, day-to-day activities will include, but not be limited to:
Creating and coordinating the publishing process of various types of content, activities, and campaigns (e.g. deal announcements, quarterly newsletters, reports, white papers, event communications, and marketing collateral).
Assisting in event marketing and coordination, particularly during conference season.
Assisting with the coordination of an annual calendar of marketing activities and contributing to a comprehensive monthly and quarterly report.
Strictly adhere to workflow management and quality control methods required to produce compliant work products through our project management software and marketing approval process.
Provide support for officer speaking engagements and sponsorships through collateral development, branding, and other means.
Work collaboratively with financial officers to leverage LinkedIn as a marketing vehicle.
Assist in monitoring website content; facilitate maintenance and updates on a quarterly and ad hoc basis.
Review and submit digital assets, ensuring all required fields and approvals are completed.
Pull stat reports, produce summary tables, and compare data using vlookup.
Ensure the maximization of marketing efforts; identify potential remarketing, cross promotional, and business development opportunities.
Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
Ability to multi-task, managing numerous projects across multiple stakeholders simultaneously within compressed timeframes.
Exceedingly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work independently on a project, as well as collaboratively as a team player.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools, with an enthusiasm for all elements of digital marketing.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management, especially senior executives.
A self-motivated and results-oriented person with a proactive approach to executing new projects.
Flexible and open to changing priorities with ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Computer savvy, with software proficiency with MS Office and a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
Preferred Experience 1-2 years of marketing experience.
Prior experience of B2B marketing, ideally in a professional services firm (within the financial industry is a plus).
Working knowledge of CRM platforms.
Working knowledge of marketing automation platforms.
Working knowledge of project management software within a team.
Prior experience and confidence in working with senior executives.
Salary Range Houlihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation. The firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible salary range for this role at the time of posting is: $75,000.00-$85,000.00. Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience and the location where this position may be filled.
