Job Description:
This faculty position is a joint appointment between School of Music (51%) and the Center for Computation and Technology (49%). The ideal candidate will have experience in sound synthesis, digital signal processing, electroacoustic music compositions, interactive computer music systems, computer programmings, and collaboration with other digital media disciplines. They will also demonstrate accumulated successes as a composer in traditional music media. This person will provide visionary leadership in their respective field, collaborate in interdisciplinary research projects, develop and lead sponsored research projects, and advance the missions of both the School of Music and CCT.

- Teach courses in composition and Experimental Music & Digital Media; advise graduate students; recruit promising students
- Perform research, scholarship, and creative activity within the School of Music's Experimental Music & Digital Media program and the Center for Computation & Technology's cultural computing group and contribute broadly to the artistic and educational milieu of a major School of Music at a Research I, flagship university.
- Provide service and participate in faculty governance
