The Director of Marketing will work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to manage the current industry marketing strategy and to develop marketing communications plans, ensuring marketing integration and consistency. This position's core functions are developing customer journeys, optimizing the customer experience, and branding. This position will regularly perform industry and customer research to ensure the company brand and marketing strategy provide continuous business development and align external communication to provide the best customer experience. The Director of Marketing achieves marketing communications operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews while continuously promoting the company’s brand. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Create and implement marketing strategy. Construct the customer journey for each product vertical. Optimize touch points along these journeys via rapid experimentation and prototyping. Collect data from these touchpoints to drive the customer experience. Familiarity with Design Thinking and Agile Methodology is a plus. Customer, Market, and Product Management: Capture data from customer interactions, such as surveys or website visits, and analyze it to determine insights about our customers with the PM team. Work with Production Management Team to identify trends in industry data to inform strategic/business development opportunities. Work with PM Team to perform a geographic and industry market analysis to support a successful entry and growth into new markets. OEM Partnership Management: Work with OEM marketing departments to utilize market development funds, co-op activities, and co-branding promotional items. Gain thorough knowledge of existing and developmental product lines to match customer needs. Digital Content: Manage relationships with partners for the creation of branded sales and marketing collateral materials including, but not limited to digital content for website and social media, brochures, PowerPoints, flyers, videos, and graphic design. Website Content & Design: Product ownership of company website and content to reflect updated information that leverages technology while providing the best customer experience. Experience in customer portals, B2B e-commerce, and B2B marketplaces is a plus. WordPress or other CMS experience is a plus. Product Support: Support business development strategy meetings, presentations, and client interviews. Provide general product support to clients. Social Media: Work with partners to manage digital media presence, including social media channels. Content calendar development in collaboration with leadership to provide consistent updates across social platforms aiming to engage followers and promote the company brand. Brand Management: Develop and promote product marketing strategies with internal SME, as well as, joint marketing initiatives with OEMs to enhance branch recognition. Promote company image by contributing assistance to community events. Manage the company store to include new promotional items within budget as well as managing inventory of store items. Internal Communications & Events: Coordinate service updates, product releases, and other key internal communications company-wide. Oversee the strategy and facilitation of company-hosted (crawfish boils, open house, etc.) and company-attended (trade shows, golf tournaments, etc.) customer events to ensure appropriate ROI. Develop press releases in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team. Provide development of content for semi-annual company meetings. Positional Requirements & Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. 5+ years of experience in marketing strategy development and implementation. Skills & Abilities: Organizational skills. Presentation skills. Strategic planning. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strategic marketing. Decision making. Team player. Must be able to travel and have a clean driving record in accordance with company driving guidelines. Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening.
