Sponsorship Coordination
- Reach out to sponsors before season begins and establish relations as principal point of contact
- Organize sponsor giveaways, first pitch participants, and public address announcements
- Spearhead the marketing for sponsored games
- Cater to sponsors needs before, during, and after the game
- Ensure sponsorship satisfaction throughout the season

- Leads on-field promotions with microphone in conjunction with the PA Announcer
• - Works with Huskies Staff to help create fun and exciting games/promotions for between innings
- Responsible for all props and prizes (before, during and after game) for the promotion games/events
• - Responsible for connecting with General Manager to make sure sponsors receive all that's due to them promotion wise, throughout the season
• - Responsible for communicating with game day sponsors and on-field sponsors concerning their sponsorship event or on-field promo. Responsible for meeting their needs and what they want to see on the field and off.
- Interact with all fans throughout the game-Goal is to create an experience the fans will not forget, get them excited and a part of the game that's being played
• - Responsible for finding sponsorship game participants before and during the baseball game
- Responsible for communication between themselves and PA announcer. Must be able to effectively communicate and work through last minute changes to promotions and on field games.
- Responsible for all aspects of the Pre-game events; Organizing and directing all participants such as when the Little League players walk out on the field with our players for the National Anthem
- Responsible for touching base and walking through the routine with the National Anthem singer and the person leading the moment of silence before the game.
• - Help generate new ideas for on and off field for marketing, sales and promotions. This is information you will gain by working so closely with our game day sponsors and on field promotion sponsors
• - And other duties as assigned
- Assist in the execution of various theme/sonsored nights throughout the season
- Execute on-field promotions
- Find contestants for pre-game festivities and in-game on field promotions
- Prep promotions before gates open and take down promotions post-game
- Organize all pre-game events such as first pitch, national anthem singer, Baseball Buddies, and more
- Run social media platforms
- Come up with fun social media content to keep fans engaged throughout the season to be posted on the teams official Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- PA script writing
- Update the PA script for each Huskies home game
- Contact sponsors to add sponsorship and foul ball reads as needed
- Promote upcoming games in the script
- Communicate with public address announcer on an last minute changes to the script
- Coordinate music for each game and update walk up songs
- Assist with stadium setup at the direction of stadium operations
- Assist with everyday office duties
Community Relations - Plan and organize community events such as player and mascot appearances
- Attend community events as a representative of the Duluth Huskies
- Keep in contact with TV and newspaper representatives and inform them of all things Huskies
- Disperse pocket schedules, poster schedules, and any other promotional advertising to sponsors and around the Duluth area
- Required Skills and Qualifications
- You are a motivated individual who is interested in learning what it is like to work in the sports industry
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Management, or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast pace and high energy environment
- Ability to work as a team
- Familiar with social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
