Job Overview

Salary Range: $240K to $260K + incentive plan

This role is remote with approximately 15% travel

Position Summary The Vice President of Marketing is

a strategic thinker, an experienced leader, and a strong communicator with the ability to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and protect and build the company’s reputation during critical moments. This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing integrated marketing strategies that support our business goals, drive engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, and supporting the Commercial team’s success. This role will act as the primary point of contact between internal teams and external agency partners, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and collaboration on all initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communications & Brand Oversee internal and external communications, ensuring consistency in messaging across all channels, including media relations, employee communications, partner communications and corporate announcements. Lead the development and execution of corporate communications strategies that align with business objectives and enhance the company’s reputation in the marketplace. Lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies across digital, social media, client events and tradeshows, and other channels. Oversee brand management, ensuring consistency in brand voice, messaging, and positioning across all platforms. Manage crisis communications and supporting plans to manage and mitigate reputational risks. Lead communication strategies during a crisis, ensuring timely, transparent, and accurate messaging to all stakeholders (employees, customers, media, investors, etc.). Work cross-functionally with legal, HR, and executive teams to manage sensitive issues and protect the company’s image. Provide counsel and strategic advice to senior leadership during high-stakes communications situations. Marketing & Demand Generation Drive demand generation strategies and lead generation programs that support business objectives and fuel revenue growth. Analyze sales data to identify gaps in the sales funnel and create targeted marketing initiatives that drive demand generation and sales acceleration. Foster strong collaboration between marketing and sales to ensure cohesive messaging and shared goals. Oversee the Sales Development team responsible for building pipeline, qualifying leads and supporting opportunity development for the Sales team. Sales Enablement Partner closely with the sales team to develop and deliver tools, resources, and training that enhance sales effectiveness and improve revenue generation. Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that ensures alignment between marketing campaigns and sales objectives. Provide sales teams with the necessary content, collateral, and messaging to successfully engage prospects and close deals. Leadership & Department Management Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing team, providing guidance and support to ensure professional development and high performance. Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize impact and efficiency. Collaborate with agencies to develop integrated marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives. Oversee agency performance and ensure the delivery of high-quality work on time and within budget. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing initiatives and campaigns to measure effectiveness and ROI. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Strong understanding of inbound and outbound marketing for the enterprise, as well as “land and expand” B2B sales. Deep understanding of corporate communications at scale and executive-level communications. ROI-driven approach to marketing and strong attention to detail. Demonstrable experience of positioning a company in a competitive market and winning market share. Proven experience managing crisis communications, including working with crisis communication firms. Strong writing and communication capabilities. Clear, effective communication skills and experience in a collaborative, transparent, and hands-on environment. Strategic planning and execution. Budget management. Leading sales development/opportunity development team within demand generation activities. Educational Qualifications/Job Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree required. 10 plus years of experience in Marketing preferred. What’s In It for You?
