Broadcast Management Group (BMG) is a leading global broadcast production company that provides managed services to major broadcast networks, corporations, and studios. It is also a top producer of live multicamera news, sports, entertainment, and corporate broadcast productions. BMG operates in New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Las Vegas.
This month marks the first anniversary of the Schwab Network, formerly the TD Ameritrade Network, for six years. Since its inception, BMG, working with the Schwab management team, has provided the creative, production, engineering, and operational management backbone for this first-of-its-kind financial OTT network, delivering live, market-moving content that empowers investors with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions.
Over the years, weve supported the Schwab Network in setting a new standard in financial media, helping it achieve approximately 2 million views per month across all platforms. Our team has been instrumental in producing a diverse range of programming, from Morning Trade Live, Trading 360, and Fast Market to the recently launched Market Overtime, which features exclusive interviews with industry leaders.
We are looking to create a new position for Talent Booker to work out of BMGs New York City Hells Kitchen office, booking guests primarily in study at the NYSE and the NASDAQ. This position will also book in-person and remote guests for its Chicago Studio. This position will report to the Director of Talent for instruction and guidance on the daily tasks required.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Research and book timely guests to appear on shows across the programming grid for Schwab Network
- Coordinate logistics for guest arrivals and wrangle guests to the set for their appearance
- Establish and maintain relationships with media relations and public relations contacts in the industry
- Attend shoots and other production events as needed
- Booking for The Schwab Networks Digital and Linear network.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Booking/Segment-producing finance-related content
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Able to work independently within a dynamic, complex, collaborative environment
- Candidates must have existing relationships with contacts in the industry
- Great interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Willing and able to work under tight deadline pressures
- Strong editorial judgment and a passion for business news and current events
