This is a hybrid role being onsite in Maple Plain, MN on Tuesday & Wednesday. The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for developing engaging written and designed content reaching Protolabs customers through owned channels (Website, Email, Social Media, Sales Enablement). As part of digital content development, this critical role will contribute to campaign content strategies through short form copy for email and social media, as well as website content. In addition, the position will assist the creative team in the development of designed materials distributed to internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Digital Content Specialist will help shape the voice and visual presence of impactful digital campaigns that drive business goals. What you'll do: Digital Content Development and Design: Write clear, concise, and persuasive marketing content for webpages; blog and social media posts; online and email campaigns; videos; sales enablement; and other digital content. Support email marketing strategies by working with marketing automation team to create compelling and conversion-driving email content. Translate complex ideas and concepts into customer-friendly calls to action using insight from internal subject matter experts. Design marketing and sales enablement materials and templates, including one-pagers, ads, and digital assets, using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.). Support website updates and optimize digital touchpoints to enhance user experience, lead generation, and brand engagement. Organic Social Media Management: Develop effective content for major organic social media accounts (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) to drive engagement and organic website traffic. Collaborate with paid media team to create digital campaigns on social that drive demand. Further develop and nurture our brand's persona(lity) on social channels for a casual, playful, human presence. Review digital channel performance to maximize campaign effectiveness, utilizing industry insights and customer feedback to inform strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally within marketing and across organization outside of marketing with product management, sales, sales ops, sales enablement, and engineering teams to maximize campaign impact and ensure alignment with global goals. Perform other duties as assigned What it takes: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing fields Minimum 5+ years of content generation experience. Minimum of 3 years digital content experience, including digital copy and design. B2B marketing experience. Strong grasp of digital marketing channels and what content works best for those channels. Experience working with copy ed tors and designers in a creative environment. Independent worker capable of managing multiple projects in parallel. Ability to quickly learn technical information and apply it in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively in global settings. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite Experience with Monday.com or other project management software Familiarity with social media publishing tools such as Sprout, HootSuite, CoSchedule, etc Manufacturing experience What's in it for you?
