Floral Designer Job at Insight Global in Las Vegas

** 3-4 MONTH CONTRACT IN LAS VEGAS, NV WITH ONE OF OUR LARGEST HOSPITALITY CLIENTS**

As a Floral Assistant, you will be involved in all aspects of floral décor production and design. Your day will include designing and creating small floral pieces alongside Floral Designers, developing skills in floral mechanics, design, and event budgeting, and staying updated on design trends, floral techniques, and vendor products. You will utilize the Event Image site and manage floral inventory, assist with the production of event floral décor, and participate in receiving and processing floral products. This includes gathering, counting, and dividing products according to floral recipes, preparing floral containers and props, and organizing supplies. You will also lead crews for event set-up and tear down, complete required paperwork, and ensure accuracy and consistency in all tasks. Additionally, you will perform other job-related duties as requested, maintaining a professional appearance and excellent customer service throughout.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6+ month of experience in the floral industry
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of floral processing, product, design, and mechanics
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production environment

Plusses:

• Event experience
• Degree in Floral Design or related field
• Completion of a design test within a specific time frame
• Scissor lift and forklift certification

Compensation:

$18/hr to $22/hr.

• Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
