Temporary Position for about 1 to 2 months.
SOP Development: Create clear, concise, and comprehensive SOPs for prepress workflows, ensuring alignment with company-approved templates and standards.
Process Documentation: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather technical details and accurately document prepress processes, including software operations, workflow steps, and troubleshooting.
- Template Adherence: Ensure all SOPs are formatted consistently using company templates and meet organizational standards for structure, clarity, and usability.
- Software Documentation: Write user-friendly guides for prepress software applications, including step-by-step instructions, use cases, and best practices.
- Review and Update: Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect process improvements, software updates, and operational changes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with prepress teams, software developers, and quality assurance teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of documentation.
- Training Support: Assist in developing training materials and resources based on SOPs to support team onboarding and skill development.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in prepress, printing, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of SOP development and technical documentation best practices.
- Familiarity with writing for software-based procedures and processes is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of software documentation, including writing user manuals and training guides.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word and other tools to create structured documents adhering to templates.
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
