Planet Aid seeks an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Partnership & Public Relations Officer to help secure funding for locally-led education programs in India. The primary focus will be raising funds from US-based foundations and high-net-worth individuals to support out-of-school children’s access to inclusive and child-centered learning opportunities. The Partnership Officer will work closely with Planet Aid’s local partner in India, Humana People to People India (HPP India), and will collaborate with a US-based team of development professionals, including writers and grant specialists. Additionally, the Partnership Officer will be responsible for tracking, capture management and administering USAID opportunities in health and education programs globally, with a focus on projects outside India. The position requires a proven ability to identify new opportunities, develop relationships, and create compelling presentations that inspire support. You will be instrumental in advancing our mission, managing the proposal development process, and working cross-functionally with teams in the US and internationally. Key Responsibilities: Identify potential major gift prospects and build relationships leading to significant gifts or donations. Develop communications materials and PowerPoints to make a compelling case for building partnerships with focus on India. Develop strong corporate and foundation partnerships that align with Planet Aid’s mission. Engage in strategic planning to reach ambitious funding targets. Research and cultivate prospects, identifying matches between donors’ interests and Planet Aid’s education model for India. Develop innovative presentations and concept papers that make a compelling case for expanding educational programs. Stay up-to-date with trends in India’s educational landscape and funding opportunities. Arrange and participate in meetings with executives and decision-makers. Participate in the full proposal development process from concept to final product. Manage the tracking, capture management, and administration of USAID opportunities in global health and education programs, predominantly in sub-Saharan Africa. Represent Planet Aid at education-focused conferences and events to build new relationships. Requirements 4-6 years of proven experience in securing funding for international programs. Strong communications skills, including social media and crafting professional PowerPoint Presentations. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred. Contextual knowledge of the foundation and private funding landscape in the US is required. Demonstrated experience in USAID grant management is preferred. Knowledge of U.S. Government strategies and policies is a plus, but not a requirement. Strong relationship-building skills with a positive, professional demeanor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting persuasive narratives and delivering compelling PowerPoint presentations. Business development experience in the corporate sector and social media skills are advantageous but not required. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Location:
