About the role:

This is a hybrid position with the requirement of 3 full days in our Omaha, NE office or 2 full days in our San Francisco, CA office. As the Head of Partner Marketing, you will create the strategy for scaling existing partner channels via marketing while building new partner programs to drive customer acquisition. You will own the execution of our partner marketing initiatives, build brand visibility, and define best practices to achieve acquisition goals through affiliate networks, marketplaces, and strategic business partnerships. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize campaign performance, analyze data, and implement best practices that enhance partner marketing efforts. By leading day-to-day operations and fostering a high-performing team environment, you will be instrumental in scaling the partner marketing channel and contributing to Unison's overall growth.

Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Define and execute the marketing strategy for the partner program to build a scalable acquisition channel. Set quarterly targets and oversee the strategic direction of affiliate and partner accounts. Partner Marketing Campaigns Drive profitable customer acquisition through affiliate and partner marketing campaigns. Dream up, execute, and iterate on campaigns in collaboration with digital marketing teams (content, social, growth marketing) and internal stakeholders (product, partnerships). Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to deliver campaigns that meet origination goals. Optimization & Execution Evaluate and optimize the performance of existing partners, identifying opportunities to invest and accelerate growth. Make data-driven decisions to refine strategies and influence a cross-functional team for effective execution. Manage and align team resources to meet partner needs, timelines, and growth potential. Collaboration & Process Improvement Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance the user experience for the partner marketing channel. Be a strategic voice in marketing leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals and brand values while prioritizing the customer.

About you:

You bring a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a proven ability to drive growth through partner marketing initiatives. Your qualifications include:

Experience 7+ years of growth marketing experience, specializing in customer acquisition and retention. Expertise in online marketing channels, including affiliate, partner, search, ad buying, social, content, or agency marketing. A track record of success in financial technology, fintech, or the mortgage industry, preferably at a startup or SaaS company. Skills & Traits Results-driven with a relentless focus on hitting targets and using data to inform decisions. Strategic thinker who can also dive into details, from setting marketing strategy to reviewing copy and user journeys. Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives. An experimentation mindset, capable of testing, scaling, and iterating on what works. Interpersonal Abilities Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence internal and external partners. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. It's a Bonus if You have direct experience working with affiliate networks and marketplaces. You bring a strong understanding of SaaS business models and scaling partnerships. You are a creative thinker with experience building partner marketing strategies from the ground up.
