Director of Global Marketing

to lead the strategic and tactical marketing initiatives for our rugged embedded systems products within the global aerospace, defense, and space markets. This role is responsible for building a comprehensive global marketing strategy, driving brand positioning, and generating demand across multiple channels to support business growth. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in high-reliability technology marketing within the aerospace and defense sectors, with a focus on embedded systems and mission-critical solutions. Key Responsibilities Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning: Develop and execute a global marketing strategy aligned with corporate goals, market trends, and customer needs within the aerospace, defense, and space industries. Position the brand as a leader in rugged embedded systems, defining a compelling value proposition and ensuring brand consistency across all marketing initiatives. Product Marketing & Go-to-Market (GTM): Collaborate with product line managers, business development and engineering teams to develop GTM strategies for new products, including competitive analysis, product positioning, and launch plans. Own messaging and value propositions for the product portfolio, targeting specific customer segments within aerospace, defense, and space applications. Demand Generation & Lead Acquisition: Create and implement demand generation campaigns across digital channels, events, and partnerships to drive awareness, generate leads, and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. Oversee global campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), content marketing, and trade show events, optimizing for lead quality and conversion. Oversee management of SalesForce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud to deliver leads and engagement with the global BD team Develop thought leadership content, case studies, and technical collateral that resonates with decision-makers in the aerospace, defense, and space sectors. Lead content strategy across digital platforms, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and engagement with target audiences. Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration: Lead a global MARCOM team, graphics design team, Inside Sales team, external agencies fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and data-driven decision-making. Partner with global business development, product management, and engineering teams to align marketing efforts with sales objectives and support revenue growth. Budget & Performance Management: Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing programs, using analytics to optimize campaign performance and ROI. Requirements

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience:

10+ years of experience in global marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within aerospace, defense, or high-tech B2B industries. Technical Skills: Proven experience with product marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing strategies in the aerospace, defense, and rugged systems markets. Strong understanding of ruggedized technology, embedded systems, and industry-specific standards. Proficiency with marketing automation tools (e.g., SalesForce Marketing Cloud), CRM systems, and analytics platforms. Soft Skills: Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into compelling marketing messages. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a high-performance marketing team. Ability to lead and work effectively within global cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in rugged embedded systems or high-reliability products for mission-critical environments. Knowledge of aerospace and defense acquisition cycles and compliance requirements. Active security clearance or ability to obtain clearance (preferred but not required). Will require flexible work hours to support Aitech’s global team in India, Israel and US Position requires work in office in Chatsworth, CA (near Los Angeles, CA). Remote work option will be considered for well qualified candidates with proven remote work experience.
