Never content to rest upon our successes, we will continue to evolve and retain a position of leadership in our industry.Our past success, our current business philosophies and our sound business planning, combine to position Boyd Gaming Corporation to maximize value for our shareholders, our team members and our communities.Job DescriptionAssists with the management of department tasks to ensure all are performed properly and on time by all Marketing department Team Members.Escalates issues as necessary to the appropriate Manager or Director for resolution.Compile monthly, quarterly and annual key marketing metrics to assist in the performance management of the Marketing department. Recommends appropriate improvements to departmental processes to improve efficiencies and effectiveness.Opens job requests for marketing programs and activities, monitors their processing, and reports on their status to ensure timely completion.Provide administrative support for Marketing department Team Members.Maintains and updates standard operating procedures for the Marketing department.Ensures all signage, digital messaging, and other marketing items are distributed and placed in and removed from their appropriate locations on a timely basis.Assist with the gathering of guest photos and signed releases for promotion winners, jackpot winners, etc.Assists as requested with the administration, distribution, and response to guest satisfaction feedback and inquiries.Performs general administrative office duties, including but not limited to: scheduling meetings, creating agendas, taking minutes, and creating forms and other documents.Assist with property promotions, events, and other marketing activities as needed.Must be a team player and detail oriented.Performs other job related duties as requested.QualificationsExcellent customer service skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with and interact with all levels of team members.Strong analytical skills, including data analysis and problem solving.Ability to efficiently coordinate multiple projects and meet required deadlines.Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Intermediate level skills in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.High school diploma or equivalent.Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.PREFERRED:High School diploma required.Two or more years of marketing or sales department experience preferred. Knowledgeable with MS Office.
