Creative Packaging Project Manager- Food/CPG Industry
to join our client,

out of their location in California As the Creative Project Manager, you will own the day to day management of packaging artwork development. You will need a high level of organization, attention to detail, communication skills, as well as project and stakeholder management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Creative, International, NPI, Legal, Regulatory) as well as external packaging vendors to ensure that our packaging artwork is developed, approved and delivered on time and is of the utmost quality. You will be responsible for managing timelines, cross-functional reviews and approvals, and developing recommendations to ensure the right projects are prioritized based on business goals.
Monday thru Friday
, 40 hours a week, OT as necessary Max Pay Rate: $58.62/hr. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in packaging development, project management, or packaging graphics, within the food or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry. What You Will Be Doing
Lead and manage packaging artwork projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and business objectives. Manage a team of production designers, ensuring resources are allocated to the right projects. Work closely with vendors and stakeholders to coordinate the creation of packaging artwork, proofs, mock-ups, samples, and color proofs. Assist in developing packaging specifications for new or modified products, ensuring they align with operational requirements and industry regulations. Ensure final packaging assets are made available to all cross-functional stakeholders via Impossible's digital asset management platform (DAM). Maintain comprehensive documentation of packaging project management processes. Must occasionally join calls or meetings PST hours Who You Are
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in packaging development, project management, or packaging graphics, preferably within the food or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry. Prior experience using Smartsheet preferred. Strong knowledge of packaging materials, packaging equipment, and related technologies. Experience leading teams, with a proven ability to foster a positive, professional work environment. The ability to partner strategically and build consensus, helping translate cross-functional feedback into actionable plans to execute projects. Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects.
