  • Digital Designer ($60,000 - $90,000 annual base salary based on skills, experience and perceived potential impact on our business).
 
  • This is a fully on-site role within our headquarter offices in Jersey City, New Jersey.  We do not have the budget for this position to relocate candidates, nor to sponsor any candidate for work visas.
 
  • All candidates must submit a resume and link to their portfolio for consideration.
 
  • This role provides graphic design work for our Consumer Products selling on eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Walmart and DTC listings).  This is not a web design, UX/UI nor a social media position. Resumes and Portfolios that do not showcase expert Adobe Illustrator skills and Amazon product listing work, will not be taken under serious consideration. 

TruVolt Brands is looking for a Digital Designer to join its dynamic and growing team of top professionals that manufacture and sell Amazon 1P, DTC and B2B, state-of-the art home, garden and landscaping equipment.  Think green! Think electric and battery powered snow blowers, lawnmowers, pressure washers and chainsaws.  TruVolt carries over 700 products, all of the Snow Joe brands and recently acquired Jetson (which currently produces the number 1 selling e-bicycle in the US) Shop Joe Brands: Snow Joe®, Sun Joe®, Aqua Joe®, Auto Joe® , Electric Bikes, Scooters, Hoverboards and More (ridejetson.com).

The ideal teammate would be…
…a dynamic designer, who is self-motivated, executes eye-catching visual creative at a high level, and is capable of juggling multiple assignments without breaking a sweat. A multi-faceted creative, he/she has an extensive portfolio of work that demonstrates a diverse range of project types across different visual mediums. The Graphic Designer would report directly to the head of the design department and work with the design team to grow and develop TruVolt’s visual identity across its lawn and garden tools and outdoor leisure brands.

In this role as Digital Designer, you will:
  • Create compelling on-brand graphics of our products across various Digital platforms:  Amazon A+ Content, Walmart, digital banners, emails, google ads, and video content. 
  • Create digital asset imagery for Amazon (A+ premium content/brand stores), Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, and other e-retail channels
  • Adhere to brand guidelines & consistently ensure strict quality standards throughout all designs
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Compliance, to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project requirements and objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BFA in a design-related field 
  • 3-5 years of relevant graphic design work for consumer products sold on Amazon and other eCommerce and DTC platforms.
  • Required knowledge of Premier, Aftereffects.
  • A strong aesthetic design sense coupled with a self-starter mindset.
  • Strong photo editing/retouching skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Video Editing a plus.
  • Key Shot and Rhino knowledge a plus.
