Telecommunications Infrastructure Support Lead

who is BICSI RCDD certified to assist our government client in operating and maintaining the information and infrastructure systems at Fort Leonard Wood and all associated remote sites. Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information and telecommunication systems operations. Oversee an experienced team in the management and support of enterprise-level infrastructure. Work with government customers to identify needs or opportunities for improvement. Plan and implement large-scale projects with no impact on daily operations. Provide oversight for a variety of tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with technical support, cyber security, IT operations, CAD, and telecommunications. Provide quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing tools and technologies. Provide planning, quality assurance, and control support (QA/QC). Ensure assigned tickets are addressed with our government client. Serve as POC for the RNEC to coordinate and schedule exercise support. Lead a team of technicians to install, operate, and maintain the copper, fiber, and coaxial infrastructure. Design and document new and/or updated inside and outside plant cable infrastructure to include conduit, cable trays, copper, coax, and fiber optics. Qualifications

US Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance. IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE equivalent or higher). Five (5+) years experience in telecommunications infrastructure, facility design, and installation. Three (3+) years in a supervisory or lead position. Knowledge and experience of BICSI rules, regulations, and standards. Experience developing layout and design for technology systems including voice, data, and structured cabling. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry standards and practices. Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, EIA, TIA, industry standards, and other applicable codes related to the design and layout of IT, and telecommunications systems. Knowledge of I3A standards, as well as infrastructure planning. Experience with MS Office Suite. Baseline Certification is required within 6 months of hire. Preferred:

Active secret clearance. BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience providing DoD organizations with technical support. Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment and overseeing government programs. Project Management experience (PMP/PMI CE) BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification. Knowledge of TMS I3A and UFC guidelines Knowledge of TIA/EIA 568 Commercial Building Cabling Standards. Knowledge of ISP, OSP, ITS, and Land Mobile Radio technologies. Familiar with C4IM standards, services, and requirements. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

Additional Information

This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of the government contract and the completion of ongoing negotiations. We anticipate these processes will be completed within the next several weeks, at which time interviews and offers will be extended upon successful contract award.
