Retail Marketing Network Sales Strategist
is responsible for driving revenue growth within AWG’s Retail Marketing Network (RMN) by developing and executing advertising and promotional strategies across digital platforms. This role is essential in building strong vendor partnerships and helping retailers unlock the potential of their digital presence. By leveraging customer data and offering innovative advertising solutions, the Retail Media and Monetization Strategist ensures a seamless, engaging experience for shoppers while maximizing product visibility, sales, and revenue. This position plays a pivotal part in advancing AWG’s competitive edge in the retail market. Vendor Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor partners, building and nurturing relationships to foster trust and collaboration. Partner with vendors to develop tailored Retail Marketing Network (RMN) proposals based on their business goals, advertising needs, and budgets. Strategic Sales: Identify and capitalize on new revenue opportunities by offering consultative advertising solutions to brands and partners. Develop and execute a monetization strategy that drives sales across digital assets, including e-commerce platforms, apps, and social media. Campaign Development & Execution: Lead RMN campaign planning, from proposal to execution, ensuring ad targeting and creative content meet client objectives. Manage advertising programs, including display ads, sponsored content, and brand partnerships, to deliver measurable results. Data-Driven Insights: Analyze customer and campaign data to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and provide actionable recommendations to partners. Use performance metrics such as ROI, click-through rates, and conversion rates to drive continuous improvement. Advertising Program Optimization: Manage advertising inventory to maximize fill rates and revenue while maintaining a premium user experience. Conduct A/B testing and implement data-backed strategies to improve ad formats, placements, and overall campaign effectiveness. Collaborative Selling: Partners with internal teams, including marketing, e-commerce, and merchandising, to align sales strategies with broader business objectives. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging advertising technologies to position our RMN at the forefront of innovation. Compliance & Standards: Ensure all advertising content complies with industry regulations and aligns with company values. Associated Wholesale Grocers, Inc.
