Position Summary:
Our Media Specialist plays a key role in supporting the Senior Media Strategist by planning and coordinating media placements for agency clients. This role involves assisting with media buying, liaising with media representatives, and managing multiple media accounts. The Media Specialist will develop and optimize strategies for traditional media as well as digital, social, and search campaigns, ensuring alignment with M3 Group's business goals and client expectations. Key responsibilities include maintaining a thorough understanding of M3 Group's services, executing media buys to drive account growth, nurturing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to meet client objectives. In addition to implementation, optimization, and purchasing, this role will develop campaign reports, monitor effectiveness, and provide insights to both internal teams and external clients as needed.
Work Arrangement: This position is able to work hybrid arrangement. Expectation to work onsite on Tuesdays and one other day each week at the Lansing office.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm ET

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $48,000 - $58,000+ dependent on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with M3's Senior Media Strategist to develop innovative media strategies that align with client goals, while supporting the execution of campaigns across traditional advertising, search, social media, and online display channels.
- Stay informed on industry trends and paid media opportunities, keeping the team updated on emerging options that may benefit client initiatives.
- Execute and optimize paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Analyze mobile app data to enhance targeting and ad placements through data-driven strategies.
- Work collaboratively with internal team members to address client needs as they arise.
- Serve as the liaison with media representatives, coordinating and negotiating rates, ad placements, and airtime.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize campaigns to maximize impact.
- Regularly develop and present comprehensive campaign reports, outlining the effect of marketing efforts on business goals and providing insights for campaign improvements.
- Meet with clients as needed to discuss campaign performance, return on investment, and adjustments.
- Analyze campaign data using tools like Google Analytics to assess website traffic, conversions, and overall campaign ROI.
- Experiment with new platforms and channels to broaden campaign reach and enhance performance.
- Complete training and professional development as assigned within the organization and department.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field.
- 5 or more years of proven experience managing traditional, digital and social paid media campaigns.
- Dependability and the ability to maintain consistent attendance at work.
- Proven track record from extensive experience in media buying on TikTok, Meta, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Analytical skills with the ability to use data insights to drive campaign success.
- Experience with all facets of media from research to planning, buying and reporting
- Interest in following advertising and media trends.
- Working knowledge of media buying and analytics software (e.g., comScore, Strata, Meta Business).
- Working knowledge of relevant data analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Organization, multitasking, and the ability to self-motivate to keep work and deadlines on schedule.
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to make independent judgements when required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- May be required to remain in a stationary position for an extended period.
- Ability to operate standard office technology, equipment and tools, which may include many hours of computer and phone usage.
- Ability to travel to/from appointments as required.
- This position can work in a hybrid or on-site working arrangements.
