Job Title: VDC Process Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VDC Process Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing best practices to drive efficiency in VDC workflows, collaborating with the VDC Manager, and developing comprehensive VDC documentation. This role also involves creating and managing 3D models and construction documents, staying updated on VDC technologies, and proposing innovative solutions to enhance project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement best practices to drive efficiency in VDC workflows.

  • Collaborate with the VDC Manager and other support teams to develop and refine VDC processes.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive VDC documentation, including standards, guidelines, and workflows.

  • Create, modify, and manage 3D models and construction documents using Revit and other Autodesk software.

  • Ensure accurate and efficient use of software tools to support project delivery.

  • Stay updated on the latest VDC technologies and trends.

  • Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

  • Assist in the research, development, implementation, and training of company BIM Standards and programs.

  • Train and provide specialized support for various software tools/add-ins and in creating schedules and other data imported/exported in various BIM software.

  • Work with specialists in various software to ensure alignment across platforms and integrate Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and other Autodesk software with other applications.

  • Research and develop tools, add-ins, scripts, automations, and workflows as needed.

  • Provide feedback on technology improvements, standards, and workflow enhancements.

  • Assist in modeling and detailing projects when required.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Revit, BIM, Revit MEP, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and BIM 360.

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems.

  • Associate degree in a technology field.

  • 2-4+ years of experience in Revit and multi-discipline coordination.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Ability to stay updated on the latest VDC technologies and trends.

  • Experience in training and providing support for various software tools.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic environment that involves using advanced technologies such as Revit, ACC, Navisworks, and other Autodesk software. The role requires collaboration with various specialists and support teams, and the ability to stay updated on the latest industry trends. This position may also involve occasional modeling and detailing projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00
