Job Description
At NorthBay Health the Internal Communications Manager creates and implements cohesive and effective internal communications plans that inform leadership and employees of key goals, initiatives, and activities in a consistent, timely manner. Maintains and enhances current internal and external communications vehicles and develop new channels and tactics that enhance effective internal and external communications. Collaborates with colleagues to ensure cohesive messaging including external marketing communications and content pieces. Works closely with senior leadership, medical directors, physicians, vice presidents and administrative directors in fulfilling key job responsibilities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field. Experience
A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant corporate communications or related experience required. Health care experience preferred. Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, a sense of diplomacy, sound political judgment, flexibility and the ability to work as part of an integrated team are required. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion and maturity is essential. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects under pressure required. Superb written, verbal and critical thinking skills. Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrates NorthBay's values and true north including nurturing care, own it, respect relationships, build trust, hardwire excellence.
Compensation : $123K to $133K annually based on experience doing the duties of the job.
