Associate Director of Analytics Marketing Office of Analytics Exempt, Regular, Full-time, Pay Grade 3.5 The Associate Director of Analytics Marketing is a member of the Analytics Team responsible for providing analytic services to the Marketing and Admissions Department at UMGC. As the Point of Contact (POC), you will engage directly with the leadership of Marketing and Admissions to prioritize analytic requests and ensure alignment with strategic goals. You will execute data needs within UMGC’s data warehouse and advocate for system enhancements to improve data collection and insights. You will be accountable for the accuracy of deliverables and for communicating insights effectively. Additionally, you will oversee the analytical work of team members, providing guidance and ensuring quality. You will utilize your extensive technical knowledge of databases, coding, and BI tools to modernize analytics creation and consumption at UMGC. Primary Duties Meet with team members to understand their needs and align them with marketing strategies. Develop data-driven solutions leveraging your knowledge of data architecture and practices. Understand cross-team dependencies, recommend prioritization of deliverables based on effort and resources to maximize business value. Review and provide feedback on data artifacts, SQL code, data relationships, and Tableau visualizations to ensure quality before presentation. Collaborate with the analytics team to understand ongoing projects and the overall analytics roadmap, facilitating communication and feedback with clients. Create executive-level presentations to communicate complex ideas, findings, insights, and recommendations, ensuring adherence to data analytics best practices and technological capabilities. Guide the business in adopting internal or external data products, helping leverage analytics platform capabilities to solve challenges. Required Education and Experience 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Preferred Education and Experience Master’s degree or other post-graduate education.
