I am seeking a Marketing Assistant to focus on Marketing and Executive Assistant duties, based in La Jolla. I am seeking support in managing the foundations of my business from an assistant who is comfortable wearing many hats.

The ideal candidate will be a wizard at Video marketing and responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively. You will help to create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. You will collaborate with me on creating reels, stories, and you tube videos. You will be responsible for detailed lead follow up systems with mailers, email, and texts to clients Finally, your analytical skills will assist you as your monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.

You should love to shoot video, edit, and post to stories, reels and tik tok. You should love social media and know how to use it. You should have experience with Canva, Adobe InDesign, and other creative tools to edit content and share to multiple sites like instagram, linked in, facebook, youtube, email etc.

You will accompany me to events, work appointments and be there to shoot behind the scenes when needed and post in collaboration with other organizations to grow my business.

Basics $25-30/hour based on experience 60 day trial period Part-time (20-30) hours per week)to start with room to grow.

Required Qualifications: (Please apply ONLY if you meet the following criteria)

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a marketing assistant OR possess a four-year degree in business or marketing Close proximity to La Jolla, within 10-15 minute drive Reliable transportation Positive can-do attitude Experienced in Social Media Excellent writing and communication skills

Responsibilities Strengthen our relationship with clients and work to generate new clients through marketing efforts Plan and execute campaigns and events Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events Create online and offline marketing content

Marketing & Assistant Duties:

Prospect Marketing Maintain marketing calendar Prepare and manage social media calendar Handle maintenance issues on occasion Purchase supplies for properties Contract to close client communication Accounting as needed-keep track of receipts and our spending Stock office with supplies Maintain back office systems Run errands as needed, drop returns to ups or fedex, pick up coffee or food. Know how to use and post on Tik Tok, linked in, instagram, instagram reels, Facebook. Shoot and post short form videos and coordinate and storyboard videos for professional production.

Who you should be: Strong demonstration in customer service, time management & detail orientation. An outgoing, positive attitude, energetic personality and terrific telephone and face-to-face communication skills Honesty and integrity are required. Highly motivated self-starter. Exceptionally strong at follow up systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Apple products, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest Not above doing any job required for us to be successful

Salary will be based on experience. 90 day trial to begin as independent contractor.
