Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Location: Salisbury, MD (in-person)
Department: Marketing & Business Development
Reports to: Marketing & Business Development Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic marketing and business development team. This role will assist with day-to-day marketing operations, including the coordination of marketing materials, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system maintenance, and managing administrative tasks. Ideal candidates are organized, have strong communication skills, and are eager to learn about the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the firm’s CRM system with client and project information.
  • Data entry; working with administrative team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Track performance metrics and generate reports.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining department master spreadsheets and templates.
  • Help gather and organize data for reports, presentations, and analysis.
  • Update staff assignment / team workload report.
  • Assist in organizing marketing and graphics files.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating materials for events and trade shows.
  • Coordinate shipping and logistics for marketing materials.
  • Other tasks as may be requested to assist in marketing and business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or a related field preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Database management and CRM experience, preferably Cosential.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
    • Eagerness to learn and grow in the administrative and/or marketing fields.
    • Consistently demonstrate professional, positive, and approachable demeanor and discretion.

Physical Demands:

The employee is required to sit for a substantial amount of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move at least 10 lbs. regularly and over 10 lbs. occasionally (overhead, waist level) from floor.
