Our proprietary software automatically identifies property owners that are overpaying on real estate expenses. We then manage the end-to-end process of reducing bills through tax appeals, exemptions, and corrections. Over $40 billion is overpaid in property taxes every year, and inaccurate tax assessments disproportionately affect people of color, immigrants, as well as low-income communities.

We are looking for a motivated Social Campaign Coordinator Intern who is passionate about social media, brand partnerships, and creating meaningful, engaging content.
The Role:
As the Social Campaign Coordinator Intern, you'll play an essential role in supporting the strategy and execution of our social media campaigns. You'll work closely with our Social and Brand Partnerships team to amplify Ownwell's presence across digital channels, engage our audience, and contribute to creative campaign development. This internship is ideal for a candidate who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and excited to be hands-on in a fast-paced marketing environment.

What you'll do:
Content Creation & Coordination:
- Create engaging and on-brand content for social media platforms, including writing copy, designing graphics, and editing short-form videos.
- Develop original visuals and multimedia content using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms to support paid and organic campaigns.
- Ensure all content produced aligns with Ownwell's brand voice, messaging, and community values, maintaining a consistent and professional aesthetic across platforms.
- Assist in the day-to-day execution of paid and organic social media campaigns.
- Coordinate campaign assets, timelines, and postings across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
- Support the setup, monitoring, and optimization of paid social media ads in collaboration with the campaign manager.
- Community Engagement:Assist with monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.
- Track brand mentions and help engage with our community in a timely and thoughtful manner.
- Located or willing to relocate to Austin Texas and work in our downtown office!
- Recently graduated or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and understanding of social media analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with an interest in developing engaging content.
- Prior experience in social media, marketing, or content creation (preferred but not required).
