Marketing Coordinator

This position is responsible for the development and execution of marketing plans to reach targets from brand awareness to product promotion. This includes being a competent professional able to grasp consumer behavior trends and generate creative ideas and should also be well-versed in specialized marketing concepts, principles and tactics. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will help our reputation and growth. This is a unique role that works across multiple PlayCore brands and requires a high level of organization.
QualificationsEssential Duties and Responsibilities
- Trade show support
- Facilitate and manage staff and logistics of large-scale trade shows and localized events. Work in tandem with the Marketing Manager to effectively plan and execute these events and meet marketing goals.
- Responsible for booth reservation, design, signage, layout, materials, furnishings, collateral, promotions, etc. Manage and schedule company representatives and outreach sessions.
- Prepare, ship, and track all materials/displays and provide trouble-shooting assistance
- Track show success and lead generation
- Staff exhibit booth
- Manage PPC/Google AdWords campaigns. Provide regular reports on metrics.
- Manage and coordinate blogs. Write blog posts and project manage staff-written blogs, including arranging for appropriate images or other supporting materials.
- Responsible for social media postings on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and other social media channels. Provide regular reports on social and online communications metrics and measurement. Suggest ways to increase effectiveness of online vehicles and follow through on initiatives.
- Design and manage email marketing programs.
- Coordinate, manage, and implement photo and video shoots. Edit photos and videos as needed.
- Prepare and/or work with Graphic Designer to update product literature, price lists, flyers, guides, advertising, catalogs, etc.
- Maintain the websites, keeping them up to date to ensure timeliness and accuracy of content. Make SEO improvements as needed. Assist Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer in site development and management issues.
- Report preparation, including trend analysis.
- Work with other staff on sales and marketing projects as may arise
- Support the sales team with mailings, email distribution and other duties
- And other responsibilities and duties as may be required from time to time and as the business changes
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
- BSc/BA in marketing, communications or equivalent
- Proven experience as marketing specialist or similar role
Travel
This position requires some travel, up to 25%.
Computer Skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Ads etc.)
Other Requirements
- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/Social media etc.) and market research methods
- Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
- Experience managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Shopify or similar) desired
- Intermediate-level graphic design skills using the Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
- Well-organized and detail oriented
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
- Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind
- Experience with HubSpot (or similar marketing automation software)
