We are looking for a highly organized and creative Interior Design Assistant to support the interior design team across various phases of a project. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, have strong attention to detail, and possess a foundational understanding of interior design principles. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to multiple design projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ● Design Support: Assist in developing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations. Help with space planning, furniture selection, and material sourcing. ● Material Research & Sourcing: Research and source finishes, fixtures, furnishings, fabrics, and accessories. Coordinate with suppliers and maintain material libraries. ● Document & Presentation Prep: Format documents and prepare project presentations. Compile visual documentation and deliver progress reports. ● Administrative Support: Manage project-related administrative tasks, including organizing quotes, supplier information, and client communications. ● Procurement: Assist with purchasing, tracking orders, coordinating deliveries, and managing returns or warranty claims. ● Client Presentation Preparation: Support the preparation of client-facing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. ● General Support: Contribute to various tasks as assigned by the interior design team to support the overall success of projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

● Education: Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. ● Experience: +1 year of experience in an interior design or architecture firm preferred. Technical Skills: Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite) and strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). ● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, vendors, and team members effectively. ● Additional Skills: A proactive team player with strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and a passion for learning about interior design trends.

Benefits: Salary Range:

$40,000 - $55,000 annual. Additional benefits offered.
